Consent is So Frat aims to bring the conversation around consent into Greek Life. Recognizing the need for this discussion to occur within these organizations, Consent is So Frat aims to make a movement of fraternities and sororities who wish to be allies in combating sexual violence and rape culture on their campuses.
Erin Shannon, Executive Director, is a junior at The College of New Jersey. She is a double major in English and Women’s and Gender Studies in her college’s honors program, and a sister of the Sigma Sigma Sigma – TCNJ sorority. Erin is also involved with TCNJ’s Title IX Policy Review Committee, Women in Learning and Leadership, and the student ambassador program. In her free time, she enjoys reading, binge watching Parks and Recreation, and spending time with friends.
Andrew Lyczmanenko, Financial Director, is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with degrees in Economics and Legal Studies. While at school, Andrew was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi and the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys cycling, playing volleyball, musical performance, and pretending to lift weights at the gym.
Matthew Leibowitz, Founder, Past-Executive Director, is a recent graduate of Wesleyan University, where he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi and a consent activist within the Greek community. He founded Consent is So Frat as a continuation of his work at Wesleyan.
